Pride fell down the steps

My head full of pain

I look up to see

God in hell

He says this is where your journey ends

But I smile my brightest smile

And say No this is where it has always been

He left me and now I die

Funny, it pains much more than I thought it would

In the end my pride left me taking my life with it

With one last breath I prayed to god

Give me one more chance for I will mend my ways

But it fell on deaf ears

For I had gotten my chance and many more

But in my vain I could not see beyond the mirror

And that’s how it ends……
